Unicorns Among Us part 2

Ashley and Justin rode up to the edge of the forest and there Justin changed to his human form and they both made a run for Ashley's house.

Ashley and Justin entered and instantly her parents greeted Justin and they were ushered into the living room. And you all know how parent's can get; they thought Ashley had picked up a boyfriend.

"MOM, DAD! HE'S NOT MY BOYFRIEND!" Ashley yelled loudly and kind of angrily and embarrassed.

Justin just sat on the couch wide eyed.

After settling her parent's down, Ashley and Justin both began to tell Ashley's parents what was going on and that Ashley needed to go with Justin to hopefully stop the Unicorn hunters.

Ashley packed up a few things into her back pack including a ton of money which she had been saving for whatever reason and her lap top.

Justin was waiting for Ashley in her front yard. Once she came out he turned into his Unicorn form and Ashley climbed onto his back again and he galloped off quickly before anyone saw him.

Justin galloped back into the forest and kept on galloping hard but this was a different forest. The forest seemed haunted and the trees, or most of them anyway, were dead. Ashley was terrified and held onto Justin tighter as they went through the forest.

Finally after about a good 2 hours of galloping, Justin and Ashley came to a clearing. And within the clearing was a large gathering of people. All had long hair but some had short hair and were obviously human.

The people noticed Justin and ran up to greet him. They all saw he had Ashley on his back and one of the taller people pulled her down into a large bear hug.

Ashley got smooshed in the bearhug and said "I can't breathe…" she wheezed.

The tall guy let Ashley go and Ashley started gasping for breath.

Just then a large muscular black Unicorn with red eyes walked up. His mane and tail floated with the wind like smoke. His horse was black as night and even the mere sight of him sent chills down your spine.

Justin looked over at this Unicorn and nodded to him.

Ashley moved closer to Justin as she felt afraid.

"Don't be afraid..."Justin whispered to Ashley as the Unicorn stepped closer to her.

The unicorn nuzzled her as he was checking her out. Ashley reached her hand out to him to touch him a bit which he let her do then he spoke to her,

"I am known to most as the shadow unicorn." his voice was deep and powerful. It was the kind of voice that could give you strength in battle.

"Aren't Shadow Unicorns evil?" Ashley asked somewhat puzzled.

The Shadow Unicorn chuckled. "No, those are the demon unicorns. The type which have dragon’s wings. But those are long gone and extinct by now." He replied.

"Oh...Guess I have much to learn from you guys...but tell me...why was I brought here?" She asked.

The Shadow Unicorn looked at Justin and nodded for him to explain.

"Ashley, I brought you here not only cause you are my friend and also to protect you from the hunters, but also because, you have the kind of eyes that can still see unicorns." Justin explained.

Ashley looked at him confused. "Huh?"

Justin sighed and knew he was going to have to explain to her now.

"Ashley, you still believed in Unicorns even though others did not. Just like how you believe in God and worship him. As do the rest of us unicorns. For he is our creator and we greatly wish to serve him in every way possible." Justin said. "Now, look at the people around you. Tell me what do you see?"

Ashley looked around her at all the people. Most she could see images of their true forms as Unicorns. Others were just normal people like herself. "I see...Unicorns and people." She replied.

"That is because it was gifted to you long ago my lady." the shadow unicorn said.

Ashley now understood what they meant. "I understand now..."

"Good...now, you and Justin best get going to the other meeting place of Unicorns where you shall meet the king of all Unicorns." The shadow unicorn said.

"I thought you were." Ashley said.

The shadow Unicorn started to laugh. "No, I am but the leader of the Unicorn warriors. I am a war Unicorn meant for battle."

"Oh." Ashley said feeling dumb.

Justin scooped Ashley onto his back. "Well we best get a move on. The hunters know my human form now and are hunting for myself and Ashley."

The other unicorns nodded but then one of them spoke up,

"Stay here for the night. It is bad to gallop through darkness when there is evil afoot"

Justin looked at Ashley. "Would you like to stay the night or should we move on?"

"Let's stay the night here then move on." Ashley said with a yawn and before she knew it she was fast asleep on Justin's back.
